Hello

I believe that laughter and creativity are powerful medicines for the human spirit. Through expressive arts and therapeutic humor, and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Therapy, I've created something I like to call "Creative Integration". I enjoy assisting individuals and helping professionals move from stress, trauma, and self-criticism toward connection, balance, and joy.

My Story

Alison Landoni is equal parts therapist, artist, and accidental comedian. With over 25 years in the creative and mental health fields, she’s learned that breakthroughs often emerge through creativity, lightness, and unexpected moments of humor.

She works with people who tend to take life (and themselves) a little too seriously, helping them loosen their grip, breathe more easily, and reconnect with their spark. Her approach blends clinical depth with creative process and just enough humor to make the hard parts feel human again.

Alison earned her BFA from Montserrat College of Art and her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a focus in expressive arts therapy from Lesley University. She is a Registered Expressive Arts Therapist (REAT) through the International Expressive Arts Therapy Association, a Certified Humor Professional (CHP) through the Association for Applied and Therapeutic Humor, a Certified Laughter Yoga Leader through Laughter Yoga International, and received her EMDR training through EMDR International Association–approved program at EMDR Consulting.

When she’s not facilitating workshops or sessions, Alison can usually be found making some sort of art, rowing on the ocean in a gig boat, or laughing at her own shenanigans.
